~~Join the HUC-JIR community and B’nai B’rith of Greater Cincinnati, Alfred M. Cohen Unit #4 as we celebrate the 2015 transfer of the B’nai B’rith archives and the art and artifacts of the Klutznick National Jewish Museum to the AJA and the Skirball Museum, respectively.  Cincinnati B’nai B’rith was chartered in 1849, and Cincinnati was the original international headquarters of the organization. In honor of this occasion, the Skirball Museum presents Drawing from the B’nai B’rith Klutznick Collection, a selection of pen-and-ink drawings of Judaica from the Klutznick collection by world-renowned Jewish artist Mark Podwal. The program begins at the AJA with a review of early documents with special emphasis on the Cincinnati history of B’nai B’rith International, and continues with a reception and viewing of the exhibition of drawings and related Judaica at the Skirball Museum. Exhibition continues through January 7, 2018.
