This program is now ONLY available online.

As part of the celebration of Jewish Cincinnati Bicentennial, join us for a panel discussion hosted by Jewish Cemeteries of Greater Cincinnati featuring Rick and Paul Cauthen from the Hamilton County Genealogical Society.

Have you wondered where your ancestors came from? Are you having difficulties researching your Jewish ancestors because you don’t know Hebrew, Yiddish, Russian or Polish?

This presentation will provide an overview of Jewish genealogy with details of resources available in Greater Cincinnati, techniques of research and ways to overcome challenges.  There will also be a case study showing how multiple resources are utilized to trace ancestors back to Europe.

Whether you are a beginner looking for guidance on how to start building your family tree, an intermediate genealogist in Jewish genealogy looking for new resources, or just anyone that has hit a brick wall, this presentation will provide a comprehensive overview of how to advance your pursuit of family history.

This program is free and open to the public. To register: visit HERE.

Presented in partnership with the Cincinnati and Hamilton County Public Library, Hamilton County Genealogical Society, Jacob Rader Marcus Center of the American Jewish Archives, and the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center.

Sponsor: Proudly sponsored by the Jewish Cemeteries of Greater Cincinnati and Jewish Cincinnati Bicentennial
