Professor Paula Fredriksen (Boston University) will give a lecture entitled "Mediterranean Mixing: Jews in Pagan Places, and Pagans (as well as Christians) in Jewish Places." The lecture is the second in the 2017-2018 Jacob and Jennie L. Lichter Lecture Series in Judaic Studies presented by the department of Judaic Studies at the University of Cincinnati. The location for the lecture is the Charles Phelps Taft Research Center at the UC Uptown Campus, 1 Edwards Building, 45-51 Corry Blvd., Cincinnati, OH 45221. Paid parking is availabe at Corry Garage (51 Corry Blvd.) adjoining the Edwards Building. Refreshments will be served after the lectures. Dietary laws observed. Reservations are encouraged.
