Betsey Zenk Nuseibeh, MEd, MM, MT-BC, a music therapist and special educator, will lead a discussion on how to think about building community from a new lens...and perhaps with new ears! Melodic Connections is a community music therapy studio that provides services to students of all ages and abilities. Utilizing music therapy techniques, their mission is to prepare students for their communities and to prepare communities for their students.  Melodic Connections uses music as a tool to assist people in team building and communication skills, and then helps them connect with their larger communities using these skills.  Sometimes this looks like a concert celebrating abilities, sometimes it looks like an intense song writing session, sometimes this is a corporate drum circle.  Join us for an enlightening conversation with Ms. Zenk Nuseibeh as she speaks about her grassroots initiatives to make Cincinnati more inclusive.
