Benjamin Gittens, a junior Piano Performance Major at CCM, will be coming to Cedar Village on February 10 at 2pm. Gittens has been studying piano since the age of four, and has won numerous competitions and scholarship awards. He has performed for renowned pianists including Emmanuel Ax, Boris Slutsky, Olga Kern, Ning An and Enrico Elisi. He is a busy musician and performer, who plays collaboratively with instrumentalists, vocalists, for churches, schools, community benefits, and other venues.
Gittens will be playing selections from Bach, Beethoven and Chopin. This concert is free and open to the public.
