Join us IN PERSON for the JCRC Annual Meeting - Lighting the Way Forward: Fighting Antisemitism and Strengthening Democracy. The meeting will take place on Tuesday, June 28 at 7:00 p.m. in the Amberley Room of the Mayerson JCC.
2022 has been a year of challenges and triumphs. Through both, your JCRC has been a resource dedicated to combating the continued threat of antisemitism and extremism, while creating new paths to preserving democracy through education, collaboration, and inspiration. Your JCRC is Lighting the Way Forward.
Join us as we celebrate the induction of new board members who are dedicated to this cause, hear from Board President Mark Barsman about the future of the JCRC, and learn about the successes of the Leaders in Light Institute – a group of 27 change agents committed to combating extremism and strengthening inclusive democracy to build a stronger Cincinnati.
We are excited to host Yair Rosenberg, Senior writer for Tablet Magazine, as our keynote speaker.
Rosenberg writes about the intersection of religion, politics, and culture. His work has been published in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Atlantic, The Washington Post, and The Guardian.
This meeting is open to the public and includes dessert and light refreshments.
