The Columbus Jewish Historical Society (CJHS) was founded in 1981 as an archive for the Jewish community of central Ohio. Its mission is to collect, preserve, and educate about that community. The Historical Collection is a display space that focuses on exhibits related to the archives, with exhibits that change every seven months. CJHS has active oral history and genealogy committees that constantly add to its holdings.
