Magevet, one of the nation's premiere Jewish a cappella singing groups, comprised of Yale undergraduate students, will perform at Cedar Village on Thursday, March 22nd at 6:30 p.m. Founded in 1993, Magevet is known for its sweet blend of voices, unique arrangements and lighthearted sense of humor. The group's repertoire ranges from modern Israeli pop tunes and Renaissance choral works to traditional Yiddish and Ladino melodies, liturgical pieces, selections from Jewish communities around the world and Zionist classics. The concert is free and open to the community.
