You already care about Jewish Cincinnati. LEAD helps you do something with it.
LEAD (Lead, Educate, Act and Develop) is a leadership experience for Jewish professionals who want to know their community from the inside and find their place in it. Over eight months, you’ll go behind the scenes of Jewish Cincinnati, meet the people who keep it running, and figure out where you want to make your mark.
LEAD was created by the Jewish Federation of Cincinnati to educate Jewish professionals in Cincinnati about all that the community offers, ultimately preparing each participant to take a leadership position within the Jewish community. Now, LEAD is rising to meet the surge in engagement locally and nationwide. The 2026 LEAD cohort is open to anyone ready to get involved, whether you’re stepping into leadership for the first time or coming back into it. It’s hands-on, and a real way in.
Eight evening and morning sessions from October 2026 through May 2027, plus a welcome dinner to kick things off
A small cohort, capped around 20 people, so you actually get to know each other
Real access to the leaders, agencies, and decisions that shape Jewish Cincinnati
A clearer sense of where you belong and how to get involved
Who LEAD is for
LEAD is open to any Jewish professionals living in Greater Cincinnati who wants to learn more about the community and find a way in. Past participants have come from every corner of the city and every kind of career, from Fortune 500 companies to nonprofits, law, medicine, and education. Some grew up here. Some are brand new to town. What they share is curiosity and a willingness to show up.
We build each class to reflect the community itself, balancing gender, background, profession, and the many ways people live Jewish life.
