Candidates running for both local and national offices participated in an election forum and Candidate Meet-and-Greet on October 16, 6pm. Your Vote Counts, presented by American Jewish Committee (AJC Cincinnati) and the Jewish Community Relations Council (JCRC), in partnership with Local 12, served as the catalyst for the Jewish community to learn about the issues central to our diverse population.

 

A heated U.S. House race in southwest Ohio has gotten a little hotter.

Republican Rep. Steve Chabot and Democratic challenger Aftab Pureval picked up where months of negative TV ads in their race left off, with each accusing the other of lying about the other's record as they sat side-by-side Tuesday evening in a forum organized by Jewish community groups in suburban Cincinnati.
