We just returned from spending the past week with 508 community members on the Community & Congregational Israel Mission has been truly inspirational for both of us. It was like experiencing the miracle of Israel through new eyes, as a majority of the participants, ranging in age from children to octogenarians, were visiting for their first time. And yet, we were reminded of the words of Yitzhak Yasinowitz that, “One does not travel to Jerusalem, one returns,” and indeed many felt they were at home. More >
