The 2019 Cincinnati Youth Interfaith Basketball Tournament will be held at Sycamore High School on Sunday, September 22, 2019. This year's friendly interfaith competition will include boys and girls teams from the Christian, Jewish, Muslim, and Sikh communities and will be played bracket style. Alex Meacham, former University of Cincinnati basketball player, will speak during halftime.
After the tournament, players, families, and friends are invited to join together to celebrate the day over pizza and salad.
Organizing partners include the Jewish Community Relations Council, Mayerson JCC, Islamic Center of Greater Cincinnati, Sikh Community of Cincinnati, and BeSpoken Live.
The tournament is funded by a venutre award from the Cincinnati Jewish Teen Collective as well as an interfaith grant from the Brueggeman Center for Dialogue at Xavier University.
The tournament is free and open to the public.
