TBH: The Truth about Alcohol and Drug Use

Free & Open to the Public

Panel of local speakers discussing the use of alcohol & drugs and co-ingesting legal drugs. Panel includes: Dr. Daniel Nelson Dept. of Psychiatry, Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center; Chief Tom Synan Chief of Newtown Police and mother of student, friend & athlete Josh, will share her heartbreaking story to help prevent future tragedies.

Invited: School counselors, parents, High School age students and older, professionals, any community member concerned about the well-being of our community as it relates to substance use or abuse.

Together we will:

• Learn valid and informed facts
• Understand the complexity of alcohol and drug use
• Break down stigmas and dispel rumors
• Ask questions and tell the truth
• Change the message, become involved, and take action
