Please help us celebrate and usher in Tu B'Shevat, our new year of trees. The sages gave us the opportunity to recognize the transition between a tree's winter dormancy and it's season of new growth. We have an obligation to take stock in this annual transformation, and take time out to recognize our natural environment.
Performance and Art come together …
On Erev Tu B'Shevat (Saturday, February 4th), Shomrei Olam is bringing together two local artists to engage our senses for the new year of trees. Mary Kroner, a local entrepreneur, activist, and playwright will perform her very own – X Marks the Spot, a whimsical take on our place in the world. Local artist, Devan Horton, brings her unique work on canvas depicting what we leave behind. Together, they broaden our sense of our place in the world and the work that lies before us. The evening is paired with Tu B'Shevat food and drinks for a full immersion.
