WHY DO I NEED TO SELECT EMAIL/TEXT/CALL ON THE PREFERENCES SCREEN?
- > The system will provide you with donors to reach based on your preference. For example, if you only want to send emails today, we will provide you donors with an email address listed.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE VARIOUS PREFERENCE OPTIONS?
- > If you choose, “I am willing to contact anyone” then you will receive a random selection of potential donors.
- > If you have previously been assigned potential donors to contact, then you are what we refer to as a “Solicitor.” If you are a Solicitor and want to use this time today to outreach to those you were assigned, then you’d pick “I’m a Solicitor, I prefer to contact my own assignments”.
- > If you’d like to connect with people that share an affiliation of yours – like Women's Philanthropy or Young Adult Division, then select “People in this group” to see the different affinity groups.
- > If you want to view donors that you’ve contacted earlier and enter a response, then select “Enter a response for a previous outreach.”
AM I ALLOWED TO CALL, TEXT, AND EMAIL?
- > Absolutely! Any and all outreach methods are encouraged and greatly appreciated.

- > Please select ‘No response’ from the options on the pop-up window so that we can keep track of who was contacted when and by what method.
- > If you receive a response later, you can always click the ‘update response from a previous outreach’ to enter the response.
